  This particular Guitar Center isn't bad by any means, but you can tell that they definitely cater more to students and hobbyists rather than professional or semi-professional musicians. You can probably find some gear here in a pinch or if your standards aren't exacting, but you'll have to tone down your expectations a bit if you are expecting something specific. Also, it would be nice if they didn't let the poseurs overtake the drum room. There's a place to shred on drums - it's called a rehearsal studio and there's plenty of them in the area!

  Guitar Center is like any big music store, it's a hit or miss. I just was there checking what they had in mandolins. The sales person was playing a guitar and ignoring me. I had to get his attention to ask him some questions. Typical. More often than not, you have to track down a sales person. What bothers me is that I've been purchasing stuff from guitar center 30+ years. I've spent thousands of dollars and you would think I would have some clout with them. None whatsoever. I guess I would have to be a Rock star before that happened.
